Hanging a radiator on plasterboard

Having just had my back bedroom drylined, what fixings into the plasterboard ( which was " dob and dab " ) should I use to hang the radiator ?
I would just use ordinary screws and rawl plugs. If you use 2.5 or 3" then that should be sufficient to bridge the gap between the plasterboard and wall.
Just don't over tighten otherwise the plasterboard will be crushed.
