Ok here is a good one for you to test your knowledge of plumbing. I have a immerse hot water tank with a back boiler from a wood burner. The other night we had a very cold snap the fire went hard all night to keep us warm (i live in New Zealand). During the night I could here the tank overflow poring. The next day to resolve the problem I adjusted the pressure reducing valve back to stop the flow (thinking the tank was just "boiling". HOWEVER since then I have not been able to resume the system to the previous higher pressure. Every time I increase the pressure on the pressure valve I have water dribbling out the vent pipe on the roof!!! Any ideas anybody??? I'm a
bit lost on this one.
Many thanks
