need help

by woodspirit » Sun Sep 02, 2012 1:25 pm

hello,

I was unscrewing the waste basket in the bath to clean it and I heard something flapping around under the bath, the waste outlet had come loose and there was water all over the floor, the pipe looks as it has been glued on, how do I glue it back?. I am a novice d.i.y'er , I reckon I could do it at a stretch, the screw in the waste basket is stuck though and I can not get the pipe out, and I may not be able to use it again, can anyone point me in the right direction to a site where I can buy the right materials, short of money-I have just had a whole load of bills to pay- havn't we all!

need advice thanks

Try Screwfix, they should do everything you need. Glued joints don't normally come apart that easy, has the waste snapped?
