soldering easy-fit copper connections

by dougthetruck » Tue Jul 31, 2007 5:37 am

I have moved underfloor copper shower pipes using easy-fit connections, my question is: is it adviseable/possible to solder the joints or is the gap between the original pipe and connector too big? My reason is: i dont want to lay a new tiled floor and then have a problem later with leaky easy-fit connections resulting in ripping up the floor. A 'friend' says i can trust the east-fit!!
