Hi all,

I'm awful at plumbing! I'll try to explain as best as I can and I'm happy for any suggestions.

I have started to smell a distinct smell of mould or damp from the airing brick by my front door. this tells me the waste pipe from my kitchen sink, which is the one that runs closest to this airing brick, is dripping and soaking the soil Under the house.

Is there some kind of sealant or checmical liquid stuff that i can pour into the pipe and "repair" it from the inside without ripping up the cement floor in the kitchen etc.

any tips or tricks welcome, thanks

Hi
Short answer.... No, you really need to locate the leak, and carry out a repair, or replacement before any damage is done to the property.

How do you know the smell is a leak? it could be a blocked drain/gully.
