I am just about to replacel my new Hot Water Cylinder and I would like guidance on which of the following three options to use for the DHW and Digital Shower.
The Cylinder Has 2X 1" BSP Connections on the top of the Cylinder.

Option 1 - Use a Surrey Flange for DHW and Shower?
Option 2 - Run 28/22 mm pipe into existing Vent Pipe at 45 Degrees and Take
off branch to the Aqualasia Digital Shower Pump?
Option 3 Use the spare 1" BSP on top of the Cylinder fror either DHW or
Shower?
Appreciate any advice.
Bill

Hi
By having two tappings, I take it you mean one in the centre, and one in the side. I'd suggest you use the centre tapping with a Surrey flange, and a brass plug in the side. That way, you will always be taking water from the middle of the cylinder which should give a more even temperature than at the side.

At lot of times in the past, I've drilled cylinders, and used an ******* flange in the side for the shower. It was always good practice to obtain a flange with no internal stop. This allowed the copper tube to extend to the centre.

Thanks for you reply. Both my 1" tappings are at the top of the cylinder one in the middle and the other next to it. Does this change your suggestion?
I requested two top tappings just in case I needed both.
