Combi Boiler - How not to get scolded in shower / Pump?

In the last couple of months we have moved into a new house which has a combi boiler and have the issue of being burnt alive when some one fills up the kettle for a cup of tea in the kitchen.

Is there any way to get around this?

Also can a shower pump be added into the system as quite low pressure compared to our last house and set up.

Thanks

Well firstly, the combi will have a temperature control knob for the hot water. Depending what model of boiler it is, the hot water temperature may be displayed in a digital display. The control knob will have the logo of a tap next to it.

You cannot fit a shower pump to a combi or other pressurised system.

the first thing I would try is how bad it is should someone use a cold tap while your showering, and if thats not a problem, carry on as is!
