28KW Boiler Stove Low Limit Thermostat - Does it Need This?

Hi folks. I am installing a 28KW free standing boiler stove in our home here in Bulgaria. The stove will be on 24 hours a day from approx the end of November to the end of March. In the fitting instructions it says:-

"A low limit thermostat to the primary return should be fitted to ensure that the pump does not operate when the return water temperature is less than 50 degrees centigrade".

My question is, how essential is this, or as the stove will be on 24 hrs a day, will there be a problem using the stove without a thermostat linked to the pump.

Thanks - Steve
