Hi,

I've attached two pictures showing where I am getting a leak after attempting to remove a very tightly fitted coupling. The red squares are where the leak is coming from. I'm a absolute novice at plumbing and wondering if I could fix this myself or do I require a plumber?

Thanks,
Oli

The section of metal behind the blue on/off tap should have 2 flat sides. This is to allow you to slide on a spanner, wrench or a set of footprints which are used to hold the valve in position while you use another wrench to tighten the compression fitting (the nut in the red square) which is leaking.
