Question about using Radkit Pro to Remove Radiators for Wallpapering

Hi
I've bought a Radkit Pro, I need to wallpaper behind 2 rads.

The instructions say to isolate the valves. Two questions!
1. which nut in the photo is the one to turn?
2. the other end has a thermostatic valve which, if I turn it off, will isolate that valve... is that correct?

Many thanks!

Hi

In answer to your questions:

1 - It’s neither of the 2 nuts that you have labelled in the photo. To isolate the valve, you need to turn the small protruding “stem” on to of the nut labelled 1 that has the 2 flat sides to it. This will isolate the valve and shut it off. You need to turn this clockwise

2 - In answer to this, yes that is correct

We also have a product review page of the Radkit that you may also find useful: https://www.diydoctor.org.uk/product-rev ... review.htm

Hope this helps

Ah right, thanks so much for that.

It was your review video I watched before buying the Radkit Pro. You made it look so easy I thought I'd give it a go; wish me luck!

Many thanks!
