Brass water pipe repair after nailing through both sides

by veitchy » Fri Apr 08, 2016 9:23 pm

Well to put this simple, I installed new floorboards and while fixing them down with no head nails and accidentally went through the a brass water pipe the nail has gone straight through and came out the bottom so there two holes.

It has taken a while for it to happen and I came home to find a leak coming through a light ceiling rose in the kitchen. I've removed the floor boards and turned off the water what should I do temporarily and also more permanently

lets have a look
