boiler and building regs

hi all,
Im converting my former kitchen into a bathroom. Are there any regs on having your boiler boxed in in the bathroom?
An alterative solution I have come up with is to take the boiler outside into a a little purpose built brick box attached to the house. This would allow me to have the flu going into the chimney stack as it does from the kitchen now. Any regs on this sort of idea?
sorry if it sounds confusing. just trying to figure my plans out. Btw I will be getting a pro to do the work!!!
Cheers
