Hi. Can anyone help. I have a mixer tap in my bath (I dont know what make) that has developed a squealing noise when turned off. When you first turn it off its ok then sometime later (often a few hours later in the middle of the night) it just starts squealing continuously and only stops when you turn it so that there is dripping which as its hot tap dont really want to do. Any advice please.

Hi. I have EXACTLY the same issue with my shower mixer tap. It’s got worse over the last week, and only happens at night when we go to bed!!!

It’s not bad enough to call out a plumber on Christmas Eve but really annoying.

Did you find out the cause, and how did you fix it in the end?
