Installing Boiling Water Tap and Separate Spray Tap in new Kitchen

by bozzy20 » Wed Mar 08, 2017 4:38 pm

Hi folks, we are currently planning new kitchen and we would like to have a boiling water tap that will also combine with normal hot water and cold water from the hot water tank (this is the one we got:-
http://www.rouxlifestyle.co.uk/monaco-hot-water-tap . Reviews for this tap is good so we are happy with this.

Can the spray tap be connected separately to the mains rather than connect to the gravity fed hot water? Why can't the spray tap be just cold water??
Our hot water is gravity fed from the hot water cylinder but the cold water comes from the mains. Our kitchen designer said its not feasible having both as it will impact on each other and therefore could void the warranty of the boiling water tap.

We really wants both so is there a work around? Perhaps separate pipes from the mains to the boiling water tap and one to the spray? Grateful for any advice/views please.
Thanks.
