Removing Stuck Mixer Tap Shower Attachment

Hi I am trying to change the shower hose on the mixer connection. It was stuck hard but Ive managed to loosen it however it seems its not just the shower hose that is unscrewing but the connection as well can that happen I dont want to unscrew it then find its all come apart.
