Water Running Through Outlet Pipe With all Taps Turned off?

I'd be grateful for any advice please. All taps in the house are turned off with nothing coming through. Water is still trickling through kitchen outlet pipe into the drain so what would need replacing/repairing?
Many thanks

Check your boiler for any discharge from condensate pipe, the header and main water tank if you have one, it could be an overflow problem. Also toilet overflows etc.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to me. The overflows you mention don't run through this drainpipe. Could it just be a tap washer that needs renewing although no water is running into the sink?

If it is just the kitchen drain pipe and nothing is above it, then only anything attached under your sink could cause it to keep running, say a dishwasher or washing machine. You could also have a blockage in the pipe causing the flow of water to slow down in the u bend.
