I want to install a tap on my paddock, I have a quote from Yorkshire water to pipe a water main to the edge of the footpath, I know what depth the pipe needs to be & I know what pipe/fittings to use, My question is, There is a 2 foot deep ditch that runs all the way along the front of my paddock, How do I cross the ditch to conform to regs. The installation will be inspected before they will connect my pipe to Yorkshire Waters. If it doesn't meet water regs they will abort the connection & charge me. Any advice welcome.
