WC flex-hose leaking

Connected WC to cold feed with 15mm flexi-hose.
However, water is flowing out, below the nut on the WC end. It's tighted up fully but makes no difference.
Stupid question but is the rubber washer supposed to be on WC end of the flexi-hose.

There's two types of flexible connectors one has a rubber O ring around the flexible pipe with a chamfered edge on the WC end and a compression nut and ring on the 15mm pipe end. The other has a chamfered edge with a rubber or fibre washer that sits in the end of the flexible pipe.
The type with the O ring is best for this type of job.
If the rubber washer is in place and the nut tightened, then it should be watertight.

Kinda lost me there hgt.
So for connecting to a compression elbow -> WC, I'd use the flexi 1/2" to 1/2". Both ends rubber / fibre washers.
Which incidently is what I'm using. Other than buying a new flexi any suggestions what else is can be.
Don't want to fork out when it might be something easy I've missed.
Cheers

Try using a new washer

Tried that but no joy.
Changed the flexi for a new one and sorted now.
No idea what that problem was.
That for the help HTG.
