Stuart & Turner 2 Bar Twin Pump Problem

I have a Stuart & Turner standard 2 bar twin pump fitted running 2 shower rooms. The shower rooms are back to back. When the pump was fitted 2 months ago both showers pumped no problem, regardless of which one was opened first.
Now, if I turn on the valve in one shower room (the nearest valve to the pump) the pump does not kick in at all. I have to open the valve in the second shower room for the pump to kick in, and then I can then open the valve in the first shower room.
The pump is in my airing cupboard and the first shower room backs on to the airing cupboard, so a short pipe run from the pump. The supply pipes to the second shower room are teed off from the supply pipes in to the first shower room.
Does anyone have any idea what this problem is all about?
