Fixing a drippy tap in our kitchen, had the mains cold water turned off for a while.
Turned it all back on appeared to be no problems everything working.

This morning trying to use the shower it run out of water. Now there is no water coming out of the hot taps upstairs. The bath cold tap has a dribble, but sink cold taps are fine.

Kitchen taps dribble from the hot and cold again is fine.

Checked the cold water tank in the loft its empty and doesn't appear to be filling. The tank has a SIDE-ENTRY BRASS SHANK SIDE-ENTRY FILL VALVE which is still free moving but the tank still doesn't fill up.

I have tried the airlock fix for mixer tap in the kitchen - thumb over the end turn on hot then cold. doesn't appear to have done anything.
Can't currently try anything with a hose as I'm on my own.

Any suggestions?
