Bath Trap Connection to Waste Outlet

I wonder if anyone can advise.

I have fitted a pop up waste to my bath, which is about 36mm deeper than the existing plug and chain type.

Therefore the existing trap outlet is now 36mm lower than the existing welded alkathene waste outlet.

I understand that the max. water trap height should be 4" (100mm), but if I connect the existing trap ( I would have to use a flexible pipe ), which I think is a 75mm type, the water trap height will be around 111 mm .

I cannot lower the existing welded waste very much as it is close to the floor . Can I use a shallow trap ? The trouble is the waste goes into a stack pipe.

What is the best solution ? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Difficult without a photo, but possibly a shower trap might help.
