low water pressure in shower

hi water board have replaced pipes in street and ever since my shower is lacking pressure resulting in high temp ,then it tries to reset itself
could i have air in system ??
or is it just a coincidence and it needs replaced ?
when switching control onto economy or cold pressure is still very poor
any advice please
