Combi on Separate Feed to Sink?

Hi,
looking to renovate my kitchen in a block of flats and discovered that there seems to be 2 water inlets of which currently only one services the combi, sink, washing machine and dishwasher, while the other one is capped. Should I consider tapping into this unused feed exclusively for the combi (or vice versa) for better water pressure? Currently if I run hot water and open the cold tap, the hot water pressure reduces as both draw on same feed.
Any advice much appreciated!
