Possible new Boiler, Needing new Shower!

Hi, I live in a rented housing association house. After having problems with rainwater entering the boiler flue, fusing my house electrics and five new circuit boards in the boiler and two new microwaves which were under the boiler and which also blew up due to the torrent of water flowing from the said boiler, my landlord is now considering giving me a new combi boiler. (Hurray!)
My question is:
I currently have a power shower over the bath, which is fed from the hot tank cylinder & cold tank which is in the loft. I understand that with a combi I will have both tanks removed. My problem is I have a sloping ceiling in the bathroom (tap end) with no headroom to stand under a shower if it was a mixer shower from the h & c supply. I have no mains fed cold supply upstairs. How would I fit a shower in the same place as I have now?
I will have to pay to have the shower fitted as the Landlord wont.
The current pipework for the my shower is in a cupboard the other side of the bathroom wall. Will this need to be changed?
Thank you in anticipation. D x

Once a combi is installed you will have mains pressure upstairs feeding cold taps etc.
