Leak in Kitchen With Sludge and Slurry Build up Under Floorboards

We've recently detected a leak in the kitchen which has subsequently been repaired. This has led to water draining from the sink and the dishwasher under the floorboards for a several months. While there is no standing water there is slurry and sludge build up with a bad smell. Are there any options to pump out the sludge from under the floorboards, or is the only option to get down there and start scraping it all out.
