Water was gushing out of Aqualisa Aquarian shower mixer. Insurance guy could not find the isolation valve, so he knock down the wall, cut off the pipes and plugged stop end.
I think that there was no need to do this. He could have simply followed the following procedure:
1. Turn off the main stopcock
2. Expose the pipes by removing Aquarian shower mixer bar assembly.
3. Close the pipes with a stop end.
4. Turn on the mains stopcock.

Installation manual - https://www.plumbworld.co.uk/documents/1-aqualisa-aquarian-thermo-shower-mixer-valve-installation-guide-e9901t.pdf

Could you please help?

One finer detail, he did turn off the mains before he broke the wall.

I assume that it should be possible to open Aqualisa Aquarium shower mixer and plug stop end on the pipes feeding into shower mixer. It would be rather easier than breaking the wall and cutting the pipes?

Sorry missed the finer detail. He did stop the mains before he broke the wall. But isn't opening shower mixer and plugging the open pipes quicker than breaking the wall an cutting the pipes?
