Changing the TRV Heads on a Radiator

by PhooTube » Thu Apr 02, 2020 6:30 pm

Hey guys, moved into a new house and doing up the first room.
The TRV on the radiator looks dated and we'd like to, preferably just change the head, rather than the full part.

The current TRV isn't the popular Honeywell or Drayton, it's a Iflo.

The head is this one. I can't actually find any on google to get the exact specs, although there are a lot of unbranded ones that seem to almost match like for like

Does anybody know if this is a universal fitting, or am I looking at changing the the full TRV to get something more modern.

Thanks

Hi phototube,
You may well find a head that fits but it unlikely that the operating clearance on the plunger will be correct.
Bite the bullet and buy and fit all new.
