I have ordered a new bracket for our shower, however the chrome threaded pieces that screw onto the wall bracket,which the shower fittings then screw onto are different lengths. I would be grateful if anyone could tell me if this is correct and if so why, and which should go on which pipe!

Hi Johnb,
I assume you are asking about a bracket for a bar type shower which mounts behind the tiles. If so then the threaded adaptors should be the same length.
