Confused by kitchen tap fitting!

We’ve just bought a kitchen mixer tap on eBay that already has flexible connectors attached. These appear to run inside the body of the tap and can’t be removed. The end is a female threaded cap - pictured.

We’re trying to connect this to a 15mm copper pipe but can’t find the correct fitting. Can anyone point us at what we’d need? Or explain how we’d specify the sizing for the male threaded end we’d need as it doesn’t appear to fit a 15mm male coupler?

Thank you!

Hi proftanda
You have a 3/8 bsp fitting so you need to buy a 15mm copper to 3/8 bsp male adaptor.

Thanks! That’s perfect. One thing I forgot to mention is that there is just a flat metal disc inside the connector - see first pic. There’s no washer of any kind.

Will I need to buy a fibre or rubber washer to seal the connection inside?

Thanks again!

Hi proftanda
