Is it a big job to replace a concealed shower with a power shower?

Hello
Hoping a bathroom fitter can help with this. I've just had a new bathroom fitted and they have installed a dual head shower. It looks nice, but is far less powerful than the old power shower it replaced and that's a deal breaker for me. I really hate this new shower.
Is it a major job to replace it with a power shower? Would it need all of the tiles ripping out or just the ones where there are currently fittings? The bathroom fitter is away at the moment and the fretting about it is doing my head in.
Thanks
