Hot water not flowing out of any taps

by Joe87 » Wed Dec 14, 2022 11:01 am

I've woken up this morning to no water (hot or cold) coming out of any of my hot taps. The cold water taps are still running fine, and the central heating is fine, even the shower was fine.

My first thought (considering the weather) is there must be a frozen pipe somewhere but I'm stumped as to what to do about this. As far as I can tell, the hot water piping does not go outside of the house. My boiler is in a utility room off the kitchen, so about 20 feet from the kitchen hot tap.

The boiler itself has no warning messages on it and I've re-pressurised to over 1 bar.

I'm a complete novice so would appreciate any help!

Hi joe87,
If you have a tank fed system the most likely cause will be a frozen pipe from the cold tank.
