I need to drill a 25mm hole in a (what I think is called) a Silgranit ( a type of composite imitation granite) sink top.The sink has 4 knock-outs for tap holes but they are in inapproriate positions. Is this a job that I can do for myself or should I take it to a professional? What are the risks involved in doing it myself - the last thing I want to do is crack or shatter it?
