venting central heating pump

We made the classic mistake of ending up with a "corgi" cowboy. He fixed two leaking radiator valves and replaced a downstairs radiator now we have no heating. The boiler kicks in then and the pump is vibrating when switched on but nothing happens.
I've bled the radiators so often that if it were that if they were human they'd be dead by now
I've been told that there is air in the pump. How do I deal with that :?: Can someone please help? With three kids in the house they need heating even though I told them of not having heating as a child, they just said that was before central heating was invented.
