I have a fairly old propane gas boiler from Ideal Mexico and I simply cannot get the pilot light to light. The igniter is working fine - I can see the spark - and I've also tried to light with a naked flame. Gas is definitely flowing into the boiler but mabe isn't reaching the point where the pilot light is meant to light. Can anybody suggest what is wrong please? Thanks.

I would suggest youve got a blocked pilot injector or faulty gas valve, either way you cannot do the work yourself. You must get a Corgi Engineer, good luck

could be a problem with gas valve or, pilot injector. If annual gas service is due or overdue - this requires doing. Get a CORGi registered installer out to repair and service, as it's not a DIY job.

Lighting a gas appliance with a naked flame is not recommended, as a build up of gas could ignite in your face, or cause a small explosion damaging the boiler.
