Have found mouldy growths inside our cold water tank. What should I clean it with? Should I flush something through the water pipes?

if this tank is in the loft and is full of cold water you shouldnt get mould as this would need warmth or warm moist air/water similar to problems in the shower
leaving that aside i would probarly get the whole system disenfected by a qualified plumber/company and investigate the reasons for this
