Non reversible TRVs

Can anyone help? i've discovered that (along with two other 'reversible' TRVs fitted to the ruturn) my plumber has fitted a Drayton TR4 on the return. I am pretty sure this TRV is non-reversible.

Does this really matter? Am I going to damage the system by leaving it? It's a pressuried system. I've left the TRV on a high-ish setting so I suppose it's acting like a locksheild.

Thanks for any words of wisdom.

Well you should fit trv’s on the return pipe for the simple reason that hot water pipes could affect the temp sensor on the trv.

But I wouldn’t worry about it.

The system will be ok and work.

I can’t see it causing any problems; your trv may turn off before the right temp, so just turn it up a bit to fix it.
