I need to move an existing rad and fit an additional rad. The construction of the flat and the location of the manifolds - under a wall and toilet pan - make a new run close to impossible even if there is a spare pair of points - which I have still to check. I know that I shouldn't, but in this situation can I T-off the nearest pair of pipes? Even if the additional rad is slow to heat up it will not matter that much.
