I have a showermate 1.4 bar pump with an aqualisa thermostatic mixer valve that gives a stronger water pressure than my other shower, which has a 1.8 bar pump fitted but with a continental type mixer. Why is this?Should I get an even bigger pump or change the valve, or is there something wrong with the plumbing ? Please advise.Thanks.

Well of course plumbing could be a problem, smaller bore, longer run's = less pressure.
More likely is the type of shower or pump. Pumps pump so many litres of water. Showers have bigger and smaller holes in the head. Big holes with less litres pumped gives poorer performance than small holes with higher capacity pump..............
But who's to say the pumps are working to capacity and the showers are not scaled up?
