When we have our radiators on, in some rooms they are very warm, while in others they are quite cold. Is there a simple remedy for this?

It might seem stupid bit as no one else got back to you, have you tried bleeding your radiators? Might help.

as per previous, bleed them but make sure that they are all balanced correctly. If unbalanced water will just take the path of least resisitance. There should be 2 different valves on them, one is open/close , the other does the balancing. Make sure all open/close are fully open and set all balancing to 50% open (by popping off head and counting number of turns from shut to open). Then turn upstairs and near boiler down so as to restrict flow. Keep balancing (or fiddling) until all radiators reach similar temps)
