Shower waste fall

Hi,
I am installing a slimline shower tray on the opposite wall to the bath. What is the correct way of running the waste to ensure adequate drop for draining? I am concerned because the bath waste runs above the floor and the shower waste will run under the floor. The soil pipe is in the far opposite corner of the room so not really practical to use that.
Also, the property has a gas floor mounted boiler. It also has a cylinder upstairs that feeds the existing shower. I want to fit a thermostatic bar shower. With it been gravity fed, what type do i need ie. low/high pressure?
Many thanks in advance,
Gary.
