I have increased the heighht of my cold storage cistern in the loft by 6feet
(1.8M) What is the best way to insulate it? (The underside of the roof is felted).

Wrap it.
Tie it.
Tape it.
Box it in and pack it out.
Which ever way you choose, use plenty of it.
Dont over compress it.
If there is no lid on tank, cover with a sized sheet of plywood to support insulation.
