WC WASTE

by Damoman » Sat Mar 15, 2008 10:13 pm

I am installing a new bathroom suite. The soil stack is cast iron with a lead branch going to the wc pan waste. It was wrapped with greased tape where it met the pan connector and is in bad state, all twisted and split and needs replacing. Is the solution a new lead pipe or can plastic waste meet cast iron. Or does it mean a new soil stack altogether and all that entails.

Cheers
