Just been to Armthorpe Near Doncaster to offer advise about roof coating systems. 98 miles each way so no fun trip.
There is 'company' and I use the term very loosely, offering roof coating for an average of £800 for 100 mtrs. I can honestly say that 22 years in the trade I have never seen such a mess in my life. Makes the recent BBC Rogue Traders version (aquashield) look like pro's.
One coat (maybe less if thats possible), ALL the pointing peeled or in the gutters, patchy, see through and a complete waste of money. These guys give the whole industry a bad name. The best bit, their web builder has spelt Knottingham slightly scew! I will not even give them the benefit of naming the "company", but will say..... SHOP AROUND and If they spell Notts wrong...... steer clear. :roll:
