leaking wooden gutters

by mnbaldwin » Wed May 20, 2009 3:41 pm

just bought a terraced house in Leeds which still has wooden gutters.

All seems sound apart from one leaking joint which is right above the back door!

Gutters need clearing out/cleaning anyway - any tips handy hints for repairing leaky wooden gutters.

By the way don't want and can't afford to replace gutters.

Maybe wrong, but think that wooden gutters are lead lined, so maybe a case of sealing a fault in the lead
