Cutting UPVC Fascia (The long way)

We have mock tuder beams on the front of our house and have been quoted for them to be repaced with rosewood UPVC. The salesman who came said that they just cut the lip off fascia board and then used it like a plank of wood. After getting the quote I think I can do it myself fora 5th of the cost with the above bit of knowlage.
What I want to know is:-
If i have got to cut the lip of about 50m of 16mm thick fascia board what is the best way to cut it and get a good finish.
I have cut fascia with a stanly knife before but that sounds like hard work for 50m
Any advice would be appreciated
