Opinions Needed on Flashing Repair Job

Just had this repair carried out to my chimney flashing what do you guys think?
It's a fair way away, but looks good as far as I can see. It look like he's taken the initiative to run the flashing into the gutter as the chimney is so close, which seems pretty sensible to me.
