Floating Shelves on Metal Studs

Hi all,
I am planning on fixing some floating shelves to my kitchen wall. The wall is plasterboard with metal studs. Naturally I would like to achieve as stable fit as possible and therefore would like to utilise the metal studs. I like the look of these fixings (https://www.geefix.com/), however they require a 25mm hole for the fixing to be fed down the back of the wall. My plan would be to drill a 25mm hole through the plasterboard and the metal stud. My question is, would it be a bad idea to cut a 25mm hole in the metal stud when the stud is only ~32mm wide? I’m concerned that the extra stability I am looking for would be comprised by cutting that much out of the stud? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Also if anyone has had experience with either fitting fixings through metal studs or indeed have used gee fix before would be great to hear your thoughts.
Thanks
