dear guys and girls,
i am in the process of buying a 1930 detached, the structual surveyor says the roof will need repairing as he has seen lots of light coming through the attic roof when he inspected. i called a local roofing company, they looked and told me it had to be re tiled completely costing 9k including scaffolding. i then asked is it possible to replace the badly damaged roof tiles, would it be cheaper. they came back with a quote of £600, only on the condition they can find reclaimed tiles. is this a hard job to find original tile from 1930?
i am looking at using warm roof as the current roof has no insullation either, pleae help. what is the best way forward?
thank you[b[/b]
