Sound from Next Door in 1960's Semi Detached Property from Neighbours

Hi
We have noise issues where we can hear everything that happens next door! We can hear everything from even a pin being dropped to the floor! Sarcasm aside, the neighbours (husband and wife) are not noisy at all. It's just that we can hear the TV, coughs, yawns, talking, laughter, baby cries, opening/closing of bedroom wardrobes, movement of hangers etc etc quite clearly!
Our house is Semi detatched, built in 1960s with red bricks. I'm not sure on the thickness of the party wall...
As renovation we broke down the chimneys breasts to make the rooms larger and soundproofed the walls with thick soundproof (12.5 or 15mm Soundshield Plus plasterboards thinking this would reduce a lot of the noise. However this has not helped at all! We are yet to put underlayer and carpets thinking that should reduce a lot of the noise, esp for our bedroom which is above their living room (but obviously on our side of the house)!
But before doing that we'd like to put some insulation (soundproof) under the bedroom floors! What could I buy to help reduce the noise!? PLEASE HELPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!
Thanks in advance..
