Rockwood Acoustic Slabs or Knauf Acoustic Roll?

Hello
We have builders in and they will be removing the plasterboard from the stud wall partition between the downstairs loo and kitchen. We would like to take the opportunity to soundproof the wall and am confused about the best way to do this. I think acoustic slabs in the cavity and then acoustic plasterboard (as space is limited due to a door frame at 90 degrees with the wall) but will this be effective?

Also - a ceiling is already down (another wall has been removed) and the builders are planning to install 100mm acoustic roll in before replacing the ceiling plasterboard. Will this be adequate/make any difference?

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks.
